Not sure what to say?

Thanks for the great pizza & all the wonderful memories my grandchildren & I shared at Umberto's. We will never forget you!

He made the best cheese and sausage pizza I ever had.
I came from far away to have it.
The wonderful man with the wonderful pizza- may he be feeding those with him in paradise!
We miss him so much!

Every day that I would visit, volunteer, or sail at River Rats, I would conclude my day with a hoagie (the best) from Umberto's. I never had to tell him how it should be prepared, he always knew my peculiar needs before I walked in the door. He would regale me about his days in the Merchant Marines. The very first day I met Silvio, he would tell me how he knows my sister's family including all 3 of my nephews and niece, complete with everyone's name. Always the warmest smile, always working...

We are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Sylvio. A man who will be sorely missed. May his memories live on in all who knew him may his soul live in eternal peace and joy and guide those in the days and years ahead.

Silvio, you shall be missed, many thanks, for your smiles, your cheekiness and your down to earth hospitality ! we were along way from home ( Australia) and your family reached out to ours and helped ease the way with wonderful bowls of pasta and friendship........

I am so very sorry to hear of Silvio's passing! I have happy memories of taking the children to Umberto 's for the BEST pizza. But what made going to umberto' special was the warmth of the greeting from all the family. What a sad, sad loss. I hold you all up in prayer.

Our condolences to the family. We have known Silvio since he worked at Ummertos. He always asked about the health of my mother, and our daughter who knew him from high school. He will be missed terribly

My wife and I loved Silvio and Umbertos. When ever we came to New Jersey to visit from Massachusetts where we live he would ask about my parents who are in their mid 90's and were long time customers at Umbertos. The best pizza I ever had from a prince among men. May he rest in eternal peace. With love...
