Silvio Malinari

I had the honor of taking care of Silvio for a brief time at UofM Hospital. He was one of my favorite patients. He has never left my memory. He always left me laughing and with a smile on my face. He will never be forgotten. Rest peacefully Silvio.

I am highly appreciative of Silvio's eulogy that includes welcomed personal details of of how he spent the precious years of his life. I met Silvio when I was 7-1/2 years old and newly arrived to the USA. Years later I attended his wedding, but I did not know him personally even though my father's birth home was next door to Silvio's in the tiny Brdo hamlet now called Tercovici (Tercovzi), plus we distant cousins on his mother's Pezzulich side. Our sincere condolences go out to Silvio's family and friends. Silvio brought a great deal of love and laughter to the lives of all who were blessed to know him. He was an admirable person and a wonderful role model of perseverance in the face of adversity.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived I met Silvio at the Saline Senior Center. We had fun playing cards.
