Not sure what to say?

Silvio, age 80 in September 2007..

A wonderful human being in all ways. My friendship with Sil started years back when I rented part of his yard for my trucks. Soon after, as I would drop off my rent check each month, we would start talking about life, family, anything. We just clicked. Not long after, we would meet once or twice a month for lunch or dinner. Since we lived only a mile from each other, sometimes Sil would call me around 10pm to come over for some late night ice cream as he always stocked up his fridge. After,...

Silvio at my house in September 2007 a few days after he turned 80.

I will always remember our lunches together at the job. Linda Johns Carr (former worker sister)

Dear Jeanette & Tom, John and Camille and Mark,

I will always remember my cousin Silvio as the life of the party. The room would lighten up when he entered and all of the cousins would look out for the pinching.

He was a modest man and never pretentious. I remember him in his Honda with a cigar in hand stopping to see my in Irvington.

Although I haven't seen him in many years, he will be dearly missed.

All of our love in your time of sorrow.

Silvio at Cundari Wedding 1980

My deepest sympathy to my cousins Jeanette & Tom, John and Camille and Mark. My late mother, Johanna, is a first cousin to Silvio. I can't forget the many visits Cousin Silvio made to our home to see his Aunt Olga, my grandmother and his father's sister, who lived with us. Whenever he visited my mother would say don't squeeze my daughter's cheeks and with a mischievous grin he would do just that to my sisters. We moved to Ohio and returned many times for many family celebrations and I always...

Fred Traettino, brother of deceased June Carol Traettino, would like to mention Sil was married to June for many happy years. Fred remembers him fondly. When he was a little kid, Sil took him to play golf and taught him how to use a bow and arrow--all in his childhood.
