Sima Margoliash

Sima will be missed greatly as a wonderfully kind neighbor and close friend for over 20 years. She had infinite wisdom, a gift for gardening and hostessing with a ready joke for a good laugh at any given time. I will cherish the memory of our moments together; she taught me many valuable lessons about life. I count it a privilege to have known her. Love to all of you left to carry on her legacy. I was one of Emanuel's graduate students at Northwestern in the 1970's and recall how warm and generous Sima was in person on those few occasions that we met her. She was gracious as a host at their home and took a personal interest in each of us. We could tell she and Emanuel were specially connected, and know she wil be missed.
