I met Simon only twice but felt his kindness and goodness immediately. I wore my "Simon" bracelet until he passed on to heaven. I know he will be with his family forever and also in my memory as the little hero he was.

Simon was always so sweet and positive. He found joy in the little things. Cheering for others was a daily occurrence. I was blessed to be one of his teachers. He will forever be in my heart. Love and prayers to Mike, Ondina and Elyse.

I remember walking down the hallway at our elementary last year with one of our new teachers. As we passed by Simon, he said hello to both of us, using our names. The new teacher said that Simon had said hello to her the day before and she hadn't even met him yet. That was Simon--welcoming all who entered his world and making them feel that...
