Not sure what to say?

I chanced on this obituary quite by accident. I knew Simon from our days at Clark university where he, his wife Jan and I completed our Masters degree in English. He was sympathetic gentle and amiable and I saw his passion and dedication to his scholarship of Henry James. My deepest condolences to dear Jan, (hugs to you)and your families. So sad we have lost too soon this gentle and eclectic man, who loved the arts and travel. May the angels watch over him. God bless you Simon, your...

He was kind, spontaneous , generous and intelligent. Wish
I could have gotten to know him better:. Loved seeing the slides of a life well lived, though all too short. My deepest condolences to you, Jan.

Simon did so much for the Bozeman vibe. His quite humor and deep knowledge of everything from art history to film to music instructed us to be unobtrusively wild-lived. His passion for winter camping was. Well. He hated winter camping come to think of it. Civilized folks do. Good man, Simon. He was good folk.

You are missed

Hi, I was shocked and saddened to learn of Simon's death. I met him as a first year at the University of East Anglia in the Russian literature seminars. He was extremely academic and intellectual, with a huge capacity for books ... and had a quirky sense of humour. He became increasingly drawn to all things American, and I understand that he eventually moved there to live. Thinking of his partner/family/friends at this difficult time.

I am extending my condolences to the family and friends of Simon Howard. May the entire family find peace in knowing that God cares for you and your family . He will help you during these difficult times. 1 Peter 5:6,7*
