Dr. Simon J. Kistemaker

Dr. Kistemaker was born on October 21, 1930 and passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. Dr. Kistemaker was a resident of Florida at the time of passing. Born in 1930 during the Great Depression and surviving the years of the World War II occupation in The Netherlands, Dr. K immigrated to Canada at the age of 17. God's leading and provision called him to study at Calvin College, the University of Michigan, Calvin Seminary, and the Free University of Amsterdam where he received his Doctorate of Theology. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Kistemaker Scholarship Fund at the Reformed Theological Seminary.
