Dear Mr. and Mrs. Sitterson, We knew Si during his time at Woodberry. He was a fine person and we will miss him terribly. He occasionally bird-hunted with Clyde and spent time with us in our kitchen eating cookies right out of the oven before they even had time to cool. Those are the memories of Si that we will keep with us in our hearts for always. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you endure the unimaginable sadness of a precious life taken away much too soon.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Sitterson,
I was so shocked to hear the news about Si. I, unfortunately, was not able to make it to the service at Duke, but I want you to know that you and Si are in my thoughts and prayers.

I miss and think about him everyday as I am sure we all do, and would give anything to have him back. However, since this is impossible, I try to smile when I think of Si and realize that that is what he would want. No words can say what he meant to me as a pledge...

I'd like to express my deepest sympathy for the Sitterson family. As you know, Si was a pledge brother of mine. What you may not know is that he was as loyal a friend as I've ever known, someone I could always count on. I have many fond memories of Si, most notably the road trips we took together: Panthers game, his lakehouse, the beach, and everywhere in between. Simply put, Si was always a really fun guy to be around. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Sitterson family. Stuart,...
