Not sure what to say?

To Simon's Beautiful Family,

My most tender thoughts surround each of you. Your vibrant, insightful, creative and gentle son touched others in such special ways. Truly his gifs enriched all blessed to know him and will continue to inspire others throughout all the days of our lives. Memories of Simon and each of you warm my heart-

Dear Mary,
Simon has been on my mind the last few days, so I went to the Web site for an update. I'm so sad to hear of his passing and offer you my sincere condolences. And I'm so happy for Simon that he's gone on to a far better place free of sickness and pain. What a 3-year battle it has been, enriching and changing so many lives in so many ways. The Chinese character for "crisis" means "dangerous opportunity." Of course there's always more that anyone could have done or said, but I...

My 10-year-old son, Parker, has been so worried, but also curious about all that Simon has been through in the past few months. He's followed Simon's story ever since someone from our UU church mentioned him during 'Joys and Concerns'. He's said several times that he wished he could have met him. I believe that following Simon's struggles will stay with Parker for the rest of his life and definitely contribute to who he will be as an adult. He was so happy to be able to share some of his...

The children are playing together in heaven... This makes me smile to know they are safe, happy, and free of NB. It is with the greatest sadness that I know you have lovingly said your goodbyes to Simon. Though I have never met him personally, I feel as though you have shared him with us through your website and your email, and I thank you for this. He does live on, through you and the memories you have shared with us.

with love,

What a sweet little smile your baby boy has. There are no words to comfort you and your family during this difficult time, only Faith. He is in the arms of the Angels now and is able to run and play without illness. May God hold you near and comfort you. My sincerest condolences, God Bless.

I am very sorry for the lost of your sweet son. I pray for your family at this terrible time of sorrow. I know that the Lord will comfort you and bless you in His care until you can see your little guy again. May you feel Gods love for you and find peace is my prayer.

You don't know me, but I read your son's obituary in the Deseret News online. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your son. I lost a brother at age 5 in a drowning accident and remember the devastation. May you recieve comfort. Time really does help. Sincerely, Patricia Bahr

My heart goes out to you all for your loss. I lost my niece in January 1996 from complications of neuroblastoma. She was first diagnosed at the age of 2 and we were lucky enough to enjoy her until she was 12. I feel your loss and know how hard it has been for you. God bless you and Simon
