Not sure what to say?

Dr. Ward was a modern day Rennaissance man. We met in 1986 and he delivered my second son. I was a bit hesitant at first, when my wife, Katie Moriarity Rubin, switched Dr's to go to Dr. Ward in her 4th month but he won me over instantly with his charm, smarts and amazing calm. He led such a fantastic life that when I was doing radio shows on interesting people and places in and around the New Orleans area on WWL, he was the only one I did a 2 part show on!! From humble beginnings that he...

Dr. Ward began taking care of me at the age of 13. He was a terrific man and excellent physician. He delivered my husband in 1948 and my daughter in 1978.
I worked with him for a brief period of time as a LPN. He was a definite influence on my life. My sincerest condolences to his wife and family.
Sincerely,
Carol Ewens Roule

Dr. Ward was my doctor and a great friend of my parents, Bill and Mary Louise Bartlett. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and as a excellent physician .

When I first met Dr. Ward in 1948 he was still wearing his Navy kakis. He delivered our seven daughters at Baptist Hospital. He was out of town when my wife went into labor for one of the later ones and my wife was frantic, but he arrived just in time to make the delivery. May he rest in peace.

Dr. Ward was a wonderful person, he helped me to conceive my beautiful and beloved daughter 27 years ago. When his name is mentioned in surrounding towns everyone has great things to say of him, he will be truly missed by all.

Sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Ward.

I will always hold in my heart the fond memories and respect for Dr. Ward during my tenure at Sellers & Sanders Clinic as the insurance secretary. Our prayers are with the family at his passing. Affectionately, Helen Colon and family.

Dear Si I will always remember your father for his humor and wit. He was a great example for us in the N.O OB/GYN communiity of what a dedicated physician should be. May he rest in peace.

I was a new expectant mother, nervous, and he made me feel calm, delivered my beautiful daughters, and took wonderful care also of my sister, and I will always remember his kindness and reverence to his own family. P.S. Dr. Ward was recommended to me by my wonderful Mother-in-Law "Ms. Joy", who also was cared for by Dr. Ward.

I was Dr. Ward's nurse at Seller and Sanders Clinic in the early 60's but he greatly influenced me when he taught OB-Gyn to nursing students at BaptistHospital School of Nursing. At that point, I adamately statedthat "I want to be his nurse some day." It was a dream come true and he was the kindest doctor and boss that I have ever known. My thoughts and prayers are for his family at this time. I enjoyed seeing his son again in the 90's when he delivered my grandchildren in Charlotte, NC.
