I remember Mr and Mrs Wichrowski as very kind and fun people during the years I was in school with their youngest daughter. I was so glad to see him still working around his yard once in a while after I moved back to Westfield in 2016. He will be missed

Simon was a dear, sweet man. It was amazing to me how well he managed on his own. I visited his house to drop off something at the end of last year and he was sharp as ever. I will miss knowing he is no longer with us here below, but look forward to seeing Theresa and him in heaven. My heartfelt condolences to Felicia and my beloved Michelle and her family.

Simon Wichrowski was one of the most important men in my life. He taught me how to throw a baseball, how to provide, to work hard, never complain, to always be productive with your time and how to show your family that you love them! He truly was a Man from the Greatest Generation! I miss you JaJu!

After reading this article it´s kind of hard to actually write this because it´s easy to say he did "this" and he did "that." Y´all might know him as Dr. Simon, I knew him as Jaju. I knew him as the best grandfather I could possibly have. He was present, he was strong, he was smiles, laughter, and jokes. He was generous and kind with both his time and with people.
