Not sure what to say?

She was a fabulous woman...growing up in Cleghorn, Marchetti's was a staple in many of our lives! We will all remember the warm rolls, Mrs. Marchetti's pleasant smile and engaging conversations. She will be missed by all that had the pleasure to meet her.

My sincere condolences go out to the family.

Jack, Very sorry to read of your mother's passing. I have found memories of your parents walking in the neighborhood. Your mom always went out of her way to say hello to me and chat with me. Your parents are now reunited. With Sympathy, Gina Giacomozzi-Hanley

My sincere condolences to Jacques and the rest of the family. I first met Simone and Louis as a teenager when I worked at their first Marchetti's on John Fitch Highway. They took over the old Hawkeye hamburger stand. Louis hired me because he wanted to add pizza to his menu and I had a few years experience as a pizzaman. He and Simone tested countless sauce recipes out on me until I fell in love with one. That's the one! I exclaimed and that was the one they used. For many years when I would...

Growing up, I remember my older brother Steven working at Marchetti's Pizza. He always raved about how it was the best sauce around and how Simone and Louis were great people to work for. Later in life I worked for CVS, and when we opened the store in Parkhill Plaza, it truly became the "neighborhood drug store" and it was because of people like your Mom that would come in to do her shopping and land up having long conversations at the front of the store with all the people she knew....She...

Best home made breads, rolls, grinders and so many other things. So sorry for your loss.

My condolences to the Marchetti family. When they first opened on the John Fitch Hwy my Mother and I would stop in to get a quart of of her spaghetti sauce. It was the best. many years later she came in to where I was working and still remembered me. She was a lovely lady.

I've known this classy lady since she ran "Hawkeyes" on John Fitch highway when it was still a dirt road......And, more recently when she graced Hannaford when I was working......

My sincere condolences to all of her family!

Sincere sympathies to Jacques, family and all those who loved her. Growing up it was a weekly visit to Marchettis' for my very own pizza.
