SIRI BERG

I will always remember Siri as my first art instructor and a positive figure in my life. She gave me confidence as a creative person. She influenced me to continue drawing. I met her as an apprentice in a work study program for college at her Soho studio for two semesters 1983-84. Color always will influence my life because of her because when I look into the eyes of life we see color. That is what she taught me to think. I wish I kept in touch in all the years after school but my memory...

My condolences to the Berg family. Siri was a warm person who remained strongly committed to her craft and was always curious and innovative about her ideas. We will miss her very much.

Your painting in my living room is still one of my favorites. You were Avery special woman.
