Sr Kay was an asset to any endeavor she undertook. Her work throughout her life helped many people succeed because of her faith and confidence in them. She was an educator that really cared about her students. And last but not least, she was A real big part of our Democratic Womans Club, a believer in peace and justice for all.

It breaks my heart. She had a big impact on my life while at Washington County High. She actually molded my future by making sure I got into college with a track scholarship with Olympic gold medal athlete Wilma Rudolph at Tennessee State University. She always cared and checked on me as if I was her daughter.
