SIV HELLEVI LJUNGWE

As a former French student of Siv and long-term companion of her son, Pär, I have had a devastating time grappling with both passings.

Life with Pär was an unforgettable journey full of genuineness, kindness, free-spiritedness, and above all, love. Throughout his life, he remained true to himself. Siv possessed amazing strength in every sense. The entire family is blessed with an acute intellect and spirit of curiosity and challenge. They are eternally endeared to my heart.

I was a student of "Frau Ljungwe", as I knew her from German class, all the way through high school (1969-1972). I have reflected on those days frequently in the course of my life, and I was just recently wondering how she was doing. It was sad to come across this news.
I met her husband Anders and two children Eva and Par in December, 1971, when they were so good as to have our class up to their mountain cabin for a Christmas party. Over the years I ran across Siv a few times in...

I went to school with Par and was saddened to hear of his untimely passing. I knew he helped take care of Eva, his sister, but I never heard of him passing away. I thought of him over the years and wondered what became of him. Will hold our conversations dear in my heart until I meet up with him again. Matthew 5:4

My Mother, Viola Janeski, who lives in Solana Beach, California, was a friend of Mrs. Ljungwe's son, Par. I am so sorry for your loss and am wondering if Par was at one time the owner of a business titled Acoustiman of San Diego. My mother, now 87, is asking about Par and I thought I would inquire on her behalf. Again, my condolences to you and all of her friends. The tribute to her is loving and gentle and I'm sure she will be terribly missed.

Siv entered our lives simply as our guest. With her gentle nature and bright humor she became our friend. She leaves an impression on our hearts. She will be missed.
