Not sure what to say?

I moved to the DFW area in 2005 and the very first place I lived was in Arlington ..... that was my first taste of Texas ... so Thank You Sir for building such a great city.

SJ was such a kind and gentle human being. He had a spirit of generosity toward other people and their failings. For anyone who was paying attention, he modeled a better, wiser way to look, think and behave. The world is a better place because he lived.

Beth and Marc, my sympathy to you and your family. Your Dad was a wonderful role model of integrity and public service and a great friend. His humor and positive outlook on life will be missed.

Marc, I am so sorry to hear about your father! He was such a kind man & a great leader of our city! You & your family are in my thoughts & prayers!

I have reaped the benifit of his hard work. Thank you Mr. Stovall. RIP

I will miss him dearly. He was a very special friend and I will treasure my time as his "roomie" at SRA. This is a sad day.

heard this news on the radio this morning on the drive to work. I am thankful for knowing SJ and family from days long back at First Baptist Arlington. What a wonderful servant for God and the city of Arlington. my sympathy to all the Stovall family.

SJ Stovall set the standard for public service. He was a man of wisdom, effectiveness, vision, commitment and honor. This city and this region are the better for his having willingly stepped into the public arena and remaining there for so long.

Please accept our sincere sympathy for the passing of Mr. Stoval.
He was a tremedous a asset to Arlington and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
I had the pleasure of working with him on various projects while employed at Schrickel, Rollins and Associates.
Mr. Stoval was of that generation that produced men and women of character.
