I woke up to the sound of what I thought was one of the dad`s snoring, only to zip open the tent to see a bear eating our food. I hollered bear, and everybody jumped out of their tents. Just heard about Skip. So sad and too young. Prayers for you Diane and all the kids. Yes we too had skip give us some Jonagold trees (our favorite apple). We go way back on Knapp street together and have good memories of the orchards and our kids growing up together.

So sorry to hear about Skip's passing Diane! I have memories of you and Skip sitting on your parent's front steps when you were dating, athletic memories watching our children at "play" as they grew up, and also a loving talk Skip gave about your mom at her funeral. Peace to you.

I was stunned to hear this news. Way too young, sympathies, and, prayers for peace, for you Diane, and, your whole family.

So sorry to hear this news. Our condolences to the family. Skip always helped at the Creston yearly Hamburg fry even though he worked all day beforehand. Peace to you Diane.

Skip was always a generous and kind friend. Sending our sympathy to you and your family Diane - The VanDyke Family

I haven´t seen Skip in many years, but always remember him as a very kind person! My sympathy to you and your family Diane.

Knowing he is enjoying a full bloom. Will be missed.

Skip helped me start my apple orchard. He was a a very kind, giving, and gentle soul. He will be missed. My condolences to Andy and the rest of the family.
