Not sure what to say?

Skip and I worked together for several years on CSI and did our best to stay in touch since our mutual departures from the show. Throughout our numerous emails to each other, Skip remained a strong, positive and highly upbeat friend and Marine brother. Upon finding out about his passing I was deeply saddened and stunned. My heart sank as he was someone I was very proud to consider a friend. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends everywhere. Semper Fi my brother...I will see...

I enjoyed his work in numerous moviesand television shows. Was saddened to hear this news. -K P Kendall

Skip was a very important participant in the Prostate Cancer Chat Room; sharing his words of wisdom & advice to all of us. Thank you Skip. You are missed.

As hostess of the online Prostate Cancer Chat Room, I speak for all Skip's friends.......we loved "knowing" you, and were delighted by your wonderful photography.

I "knew" Skip best, as we exchanged many long emails. He fought bravely, for a long time. I miss you, my friend.

Too much time passed between our talks, but I cherished each and every word. We will meet again. I am the fortunate one, for being able to say that you were my friend.

Skippy (in front) looks like he's doing a Popey impression

Our prayers are with the O'Brien family. Sorry I didn't get to see my old friend again after so many years. I know God will see to it that he has a comfortable hereafter, I'm sure he could use another actor in heaven.

You surely will be missed, my old friend. Thank you for the years of laughter and friendship. You were the best paperboy we ever had, said my Dad back in the day! He meant that too. You were a shining light with a glowing spirit and a beautiful heart. "God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best."

There are no magic words that I could write, that will ease your family's sorrow. May they find peace soon and may you always feel the sun shining on you.

May the flame of this candle light the way of your journey. May you rest in peace.
