Big brother

Syler and our son played basketball together in elementary school. I have strong memories of a great young man. Our son was new to the area. Skyler was always kind and welcoming to Ross and everyone. Thinking of Skyler and you all.

We at the FHSU Department of Social Work are so sorry to learn of Skyler's passing today. Skyler was a wonderful person. He was one of the most authentic students we have encountered, and we are proud to have him as an alumnus. Even when he struggled with his illness, he saw wonder and majesty in the world. Jill and Fowler and family, I´m so sorry for your devastating loss. I´m always thinking of you and sending you healing thoughts. Love always, Laura and Joe Farace

I didn't know Skyler well or long, I worked with him in the Mobile Crisis department at University Health (Truman). The man who he replaced was named Smith, and I joked that we traded a Smith for a Jones. I was sorry to see him leave, but figured he'd do good things at Mirror as well. I'm so sorry to hear he's gone. Much too young. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
