Dear Rizzolino family, I was saddened to learn about the passing of your patriarch, Sam. I have a brief story to share: When I was visiting Castel di Lucio during Christmas and New Year's more than 30 years ago, I was a college student who understood and spoke very little Italian. Sam happened to be visiting Castel and was surprised I had traveled from Spain, where I was studying at the time, to meet some of my Italian relatives.
