BLAINE S. ASTON

April 10, 2013

Blaine S. Aston, 90, of Fort Myers, died April 10, 2013. He was born in Cincinnati, OH to Sheldon and Ada Aston. He graduated from Western Hills High School and then enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII where he served in the Pacific Theater.

Blaine attended the University of Cincinnati, and had engineering affiliations with Cincinnati Milacron Corp., Proctor and Gamble Company and Ford Motor Company before his retirement.

Mr. Aston was a member of the Western Hills-Cheviot Masonic Lodge #140, the Scottish Rite in Cincinnati, the Araba Shrine Temple in Fort Myers, the V.F.W. Post 4369 in Sharonville, OH and Elks Lodge #2602 in Lehigh Acres.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Jeanne Hebbeler Aston in 1992, his youngest son, Daniel, in 2006 and his second wife, Harriet Schurter Aston in 2013. Mr. Aston is survived by two sons, Blaine of Fort Lauderdale, FL and David of Largo, FL; a daughter, Dinah Isaacs (Charles) of Cincinnati, OH; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, April 18th, at 10 AM at Lee Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
