Sol,
We had your memorial celebration yesterday at 90 McCarty. Bill and Susan asked me to host it. What an honor to stand up for you and invite people to speak of their most fondest and cherished memories of you. For years to come, your name will be mentioned across the rooms. You will never know the full capacity of the impact you have had on so many people. Rest in Peace now dearest Sol and thanks for everything

"Come sit by me"...the four simplest and most important words I've heard in my life from a man who wanted to be my father/grandfather, whatever I could let in. Thank you Sol for being a bright light, for being a part of my life and giving me courage when I didn't Believe. I miss you and love you. God bless your family.

Sol - You used to scare the life out of me years ago, but I came to love and look forward to seeing you routinely. I am grateful for the gift of "living proof" that life is a better place, and it certainly was with you in it. Your five-word mantra never wavered.
