Shlomo ben Asher ( of blessed memory) was a cherished friend and mentor. Often calling me a very strange child for my intrest in Judaism being a Christian. I remember every moment I spoke to him and shared my information about Judaism. His consant love for jokes always made you feel so good inside. I am full of grief and happiness as I remember his love for Hebrew, The Jewish people, and Eretz Yisrael. I will always cherish his gift of introducing me to Jewish education. May G-d bless and...

I will always remember your father's jokes, good humour and congeniality in addition to the stories of all the things he "let go" at the Seder table. May the good memories comfort you.
