I first met Sol when I was a secretary at the Social Security Administration in San Francisco. He asked my supervisor to permit me to train his secretary. A few years later Sol recommended me for a secretarial position which I attained. It was a promotion for me. He remembered my earlier work with his secretary.
My sincere sympathy to the Sol Weintraub family.--Carrie Muller, Rocklin CA

I was an employee and also a new union representative at the Social Security Administration building in Richmond when Sol was Chief of Facilities there. He was always a pleasure to deal with whenever we had issues to discuss. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends - he is in the thoughts of many of us you may not know. - Dave Mack, former President, AFGE Local 1122, Social Security, Richmond CA

I worked with Sol for more than 17 years at the Social Security Administration. What a great man. He had a humor and whit that will live on. A great loss has happened with Sol passing on. My prayers go with the wife and family of this great man.
