Solange Jacqueline Binda MacLean

Condolences are with the MacLean family. I was lucky to be one of Madame Binda's students at St. John's the Beloved Catholic School in McLean in the late 50's, early 60's. I have retained a love of ballet that she instilled in all her students. Thank you for sharing her wonderful life story. May she rest in peace.

Madame Binda cemented the life long love of ballet that I carry with me today. She was beauty and grace personified and she gave a small piece of that to every student she taught. I was blessed to be one of them in the 70s. Sending condolences to Carinne and family. I will make a donation to a local studio that I support in her memory.

I loved ballet and will continue to for the rest of my life, thanks to Madame Binda. She was truly a gift to countless of us who had the honor of her teachings. (Minnieville Elementary throughout the 1970´s) Rest in peace, and thank you.

I'm sorry to hear of Madame Binda's passing. I only just learned about it. She was my ballet teacher in the third grade and again when I was in my twenties. In third grade, she called me her "little monster." I guess I was a bit unruly. She worked students very hard and we glowed when she gave out praise. I was fortunate enough to see her daughter dance. What an amazing family. Some people are unforgettable. Madame Binda was one of those in my life. Kristine H.
