Solomon Dolomon "Sol" age 78, passed away November 9, 2013. Formerly of Hammond, Indiana, he was a resident of Gary for 21 years. He was a member of Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church and a retiree of American Steel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lee Minger, John Reese, Sr. and Charlie Dolman; sister, Alberta; brother, Charlie; brothers-in-law, James, Eddie Lee, Mack, Tim, Ezekel and D.P.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lueretha Dolomon of Gary, Indiana; sons, Solomon Dolomon, Jr., of Lancastle, Texas and Dennis of Hammond, Indiana; stepdaughters, Willie B. and Johnnie of Gary, Indiana; Ethel Lee of Jackson, Mississippi and Sabrina of Hammond, Indiana; brother, John (Pearllena) Reese of Phoenix City, Alabama; sisters, JoAnn (Earl) Wisdom of Phoenix City, Alabama; Daisy (Salvodore) Settles of Innwood, New York and Clara Mitchell of Lancastle, Texas; sisters-in-law, Brenda Reese of Salem, Alabama, Kallie Denson and JoAnn Anderson of Gary and Winnie Kincaid of Jackson, Mississippi; uncle, Taylor Wallace of Columbus, Georgia; aunt, Bobbie Ann Mitchell of Columbus, Georgia; close friends, Doc and Jim; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. ~
