He departed his earthly life on Saturday, July 25, 2020, to go to his heavenly home. Solomon was educated in the public schools of Johnston County North Carolina and Prince George County Maryland. He leaves to cherish and loving memories to his mother, Ora Marie Atkinson (Selma, NC); his father, Solomon (Hope) Drawhorn, Jr. (Goldsboro, NC); Two daughters, Symara Marie Drawhorn (Maryland) and Saniyah Marie Drawhorn (Goldsboro, NC); four sisters, Cassandra Moore (Waldorf, MD), Salena Drawhorn (Capitol Heights, MD), Gwendolyn Wilder (San Antonio, TX) and Sheleada Rawling (Washington, DC); one brother, Carlos A. Simmons (Clinton, MD); maternal grandmother, Eloise Smith (Princeton, NC); one adopted sister, Delores Lloyd-Spencer (Madison, ALA); stepsisters, Latasha Alston, April Franklin, and Amy Moon all of Goldsboro NC; six aunts, three uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
