We feel grateful that we found it possible to be in Chicago at the time when we could attend the services for our dear friend. Sol and Maurie first came to know each other at the University of Illinois as undergraduates more than 65 years ago. They remained in close touch over all the time betwen then and now. We loved Sol for uis unfailing humor, his dedication to the principles of our faith and to the survival of the state of Israel but most of all because his way of life seemed to fit in...
