Sondra Ilene Shaw Hackborn

We have fond memories of Sondra and Dick as our neighbors while our twins were growing up. We shared the wildlife around us . . . peacocks, foxes, skunks, badgers. Sondra loved them all (well, almost all), and Koshi and the 3-legged cat! Plus, she shared her sheep with our girls, who still speak of Nellie and the little lambs. Sondra and Dick were wonderful neighbors, and we treasure the memories of those associations. Our condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure as a young man, of knowing Mrs Hackborn, through doing her trees and landscaping. She was a very kind and caring woman, and one of the most graceful people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Dick, I'm truly sorry to hear of her passing. She was a real gem and you were and are one of the luckiest men on the earth. My condolences to you and your children.

I remember Sondra when she skied with the Vertigals at Bogus Basin. Although I haven´t seen her in quite a while, I´ll always remember her cheerful spirit and fun conversations. Condolences to her family

I was honoured to have met Sondra both in Bristol and Boise and Dick & Sondra kindly invited our Bristol based start-up folks to her home while we were in Boise in late 1979. She was always a very kind and warming person and I feel luck to have met her. Wishing Dick & the family my heartfelt condolences.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Hackborn family. I still vividly remember the weekly get-togethers after we all moved to Idaho w/HP in 1977, and Sondra was always a smiling face for us.

It was a sad day when Sondra passed from this life. She was truly a lovely, caring person and the world has lost one of its good ones.
