Sonia ToddOct, 14, 2012My name is Sonia Todd and I died of cancer at the age of 38. I decided to write my own obituary because they are usually written in a couple of different ways that I just don't care for. Either, family or friends gather together, and list every minor accomplishment from...

Not sure what to say?

Thank you for your obituary and your life. RIP Sonia,

Your words made me stop and think about the mistakes made in day to day life. Like the time when you´re a single mom and you lose your cool, how you could´ve handled something better. Life is short. Cherish the one you have. Thank you for these words. You continue to touch people! Charleston, S.C.

I didn't even know you, but can tell from your obituary that you were amazing. May God's Grace and Mercy continue to envelope your loved ones. Rest in Paradise.

I just ran across your obituary in another forum. It brought me to tears. Not because I am sad, but because it brought me immense joy. You said just about everything I want to have said when my time comes! I thank God for you and your obedience to follow your heart. Even though you have transitioned to be with God, you words are still penetrating the hearts and minds of the people who read it. May you continue to rest in love!

RIP sweet Sonia. Although I didn´t know you, I will keep you in my heart.

Sonia, I read your obituary here in 2024. It was so brave and full of insight but if you are somewhere out there I will think of you often and keep your memory alive. Even in my own head. Your life was worth so much on the short time you were here on Earth. I read about you in 2024 on Reddit. It was so powerful . You are not forgotten . Rest in Peace .From Shane in Kent , England 2024

Just saw this on the Internet. Love this idea of writing your own obituary. Sonja seemed to be the type of person that I would have been friends with. Funny, a bit smart alecky, brave and genuine. May she rest in peace.

Every lost of life is painful. But that of a life so promising is very poignant. You have a place at the heart of the world. Kind regards to a family this wonderful woman.

I wish I had known you. I am so very sorry you are gone, gone to paradise. God bless your family. One day I may run into you. Rip Love Francine Brogan
