I worked with Sonya at Alion and many days we were among the very few in the office. It was a difficult time to be starting a new job but Sonya worked very hard to learn all aspects of the job. Peace be with her and her family during these diffcult days.

I had the pleasure of working with Sonya for over a year and she was truly a joy to work with. I am still trying to wrap my head around this tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Praying for peace and strength as you navigate this journey without Sonya.

Sonya was literally the sweetest, kindest, funniest and caring woman that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing in my lifetime! She was more than a friend, she was our family too. Life on this earth will not be the same without you momma! You were truly a blessing and I will miss you. I will always be there for the girls and zyiere no matter what!
