She was a classmate of mine at Cooper High School. Always fun and bubbly. I´m so sorry to see this. Prayer for family and friends.

We lost track of each other in 1991. I had trained her as a lifeguard and worked with her until my work took me away from Abilene. Sonya was a genuine, sweet, sincere, and intelligent friend. I can't believe she is gone, so young. God bless her and keep her.

Sonya,
It is really hard to sum up everything that you were to me. You were my cousin, my 1st friend, big sister at times, occasionally my twin, keeper of my secrets & a judgement free zone when I was struggling. It is hard to remember a childhood memory that you were not a part of, I will always remember choreographing dances along side you and singing our favorite songs when were little! We never stopped dancing or singing! I am sad that we are not going to be 80 year old ladies...

I will always remember meeting Sonya the first time. She was such a beautiful and sweet little girl. How blessed our family was to add not only Vicki but also Sonya. Sonya will be missed. Praying for her family as they grieve her now and know they will have a happy reunion with her one day in heaven.
Love,
Cheryl Neeley
