Sophia E. Godbout

My thoughts and prayers to the Godbout family on the passing of Sophia. I knew Sophia thru her daughter Renee. Renee & I went to school, church & Camp Fire together. Sophia was always there to help with Camp Fire. Plus, our church,Jehovah, had a summer camp and Sophia heped us organize and get a great camp together for the kids. I was a front-desk staff member at the Midway YMCA for several years, and saw Sophia on a regular basis when she came for her Senior's Swimming activities. I called her Miss Sophia, and she was a wonderul lady, and always took time to ask me about my life, my kids, and family.She used to pick lilacs for me and put them at the front-desk for me to enjoy, because she knew they were my favorite.
