I extend my heartfelt sympathy to all in Sophie's family. She was a great friend during my years as the Abbot and then as Bishop. During our years together at St. Andrew's Church, she was a regular and quite the social lady. She was very supportive to the Slovak Benedictine community. I offered a Mass the day after I received the news of her death. I regret that another funeral keeps me from sharing her funeral Mass. She will be in my prayers that she Rest in Peace!
