Read MoreI knew Sophie only through the stories of her son-in-law Dennis, my co-worker at EPA. I could tell that Sophie was a kind and special grandmother, mother and mother-in-law. I know that she will be missed, but hope the Wychocki family takes comfort that Sophie's health problems are over.

So sorry for you loss. Sophie was a very sweet person and us girls in the Transportation Department at New Lenox Township will miss her dearly. We enjoyed talking with her while transporting her to the Dialysis Center three times a week. God Bless
