Sophie Brody

To Arthur Brody and his family:

I vividly remember meeting Sophie Brody at La Jolla Playhouse, during my tenure as Development Director. She was so positive and committed to her work with the San Diego Opera and the Seacrest Village, she set a high bar of excellence for community volunteerism. Every group needs a "Sophie Brody" and the many organizations, staffers, fellow volunteers and patrons she served will miss her deeply.

My sincere condolences go out to the entire Brody family. Mrs Sophie Brody is my favorite person that I ever had the pleasure to work with. She was the hardest worker, the most honest person and extremely smart. Our discussions ranged from foreign to domestic issues and politics but most importantly she always talked lovingly about her family and how proud she was of the accomplishments of her five grandsons.
