I will always remember Aunt Sopie scurrying around the kitchen getting baked goods ready for guests. Her happy demeanor and smile made you feel right at home. My favorite dessert was her creme puffs. Light and airy and filled with rich custard. I spent years working on mine and still they did not compare to hers.
Aunt Sophie was the first to arrive with baked goodies and a card when you brought your new baby home. She would attend every bridal shower, communion or graduation.
