Sophie was such a shining star and a good friend to Abby. I loved picking them up from school and football games. They always wanted to drive around and BLAST music and drive fast in my GTI. Sophie was an outstanding person with an amazing heart. She will be missed forever and always.

Such a great student during her days at West Middle School. Enjoyed that wonderful smile and great laugh. She even had time to come back to help during sports contests while she was in her fight. Nothing stopped her or slowed her down. I will miss her, but remember everything that was so great about her.

It has been an honor to know Sophie. We will miss her so much, especially at Sunday Night Basketball (SNBB)! When we first started going, you could always count on giggles and jokes from her or someone else teasing her! She always lit up the room. You didn’t have to know her well to realize that. What a gift she was to have around. I don’t understand why she was taken so early from this earth, but I know God truly greeted an angel on December 20th. Always #sophiestrong

Our granddaughter played ball with Sophie. She had stayed at our home with Megan and she was a sweet young lady. Our deepest condolences to your family.
