Sophie J. Zalewski

Sophie J. (Stasiak) Zalewski, 96, of Stanton Heights, died Monday, Nov. 16, 2009. Wife of the late Walter Zalewski Sr.; beloved mother of Walter J. (Judy) Zalewski and the late Dorothy L. Zalewski; grandmother of Laura Ann (Rusty) Liberatore; great-grandmother of Gabrielle Angeline Liberatore; sister of Edward Stasiak, of Virginia, and the late Joseph and Catherine Stasiak. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the WALTER J. ZALEWSKI FUNERAL HOME, 216 44th St., Lawrenceville. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Friday in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. The family requests donations to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Dome Fund.
