Not sure what to say?

I just happened to think of Dr Noori today. As I near retirement from my practice I find myself reflecting on those who made a difference in my life, and hope perhaps I have made some small difference in others. I was at Hershey from 1975-1978. I had limited contact with Dr. Noori, but even in those occasional brief encounters it was obvious just how brilliant and caring he was. His soft spoken calm was a blessing in the E.R. Reading his obituary was a moment of melancholy I will cherish...

As one of his most grateful students, I wish to send my heartfelt thanks for Dr. Noori's life and condolences to his family for his passing. Please know that he influenced a great number of physicians in paths of greater sensitivity and sophistication. We carry on his legacy with passion and joy.

Dear Khonum Behjat and Family,

I was saddened to hear of Soroush's passing as I remember so well playing with him and his brothers Dariush and Koroush at our homes in Tehran in the 1950s. He was a bit younger than Koroush and I, but he was always included in our adventures and I have very good memories of him swimming in our pool and climbing the berry trees that lined our street in Darrous. My wife and I often look at the pictures we took at his sister's Azar wedding and remember...

I was very saddened when I learned recently of the passing of Dr. Noori. I knew that he was fighting a battle with cancer and even so was continuing to carry on a busy practice. I would very much have wanted to come to his Memorial Service had I not been in Chili visiting family. I knew him as a wonderful, caring person with a sincere and positive attitude. He was held in high regard by his colleagues and had a very positive reputation in his medical practice. With every encounter that I...

The nurses in my office as well as myself had the pleasure and privilege to have Dr. Noori as our psychiatrist consultant for his last years in practice. We loved working with him. Not only was he compassionate and funny, but extremely helpful with his knowledge of PTSD, etc.

Our deepest sympathy for the family for this tremendous loss of a wonderful man.
