Not sure what to say?

Spencer, my friend, I am thinking of you again this Christmastime, remembering our work together, but moreso our friendship and good times, traveling together, playing basketball together, and attending conferences for IBM together. I am still very appreciative that you were the IBM Manager who coordinated and attended both my Quarter Century Dinner, and my Retirement Dinner at Le Chateau in South Salem. My family still remembers you and still appreciates the kindness and warmth you showed...

Spencer, my good friend, I am thinking of you today, as I do often, and I wish your family peace, comfort and a wonderful Christmas.

I was reminded of Spencer recently when selling my VW Beetle. The buyer was a big guy who was impressed with the headroom in the front seats. It was the first thing Spencer mentioned when he sat in my car. He didn’t fit easily in too many cars, and you would not find him riding around in a VW Beetle very often, but he sure appreciated the headroom. RIP Spencer. Bill Behan

I had not heard about my friend Spencer's passing until this week. I will pray for eternal peace and happiness for his soul, and for comfort and only happy memories for his family. I will miss you, Spence. Thank you for our friendship and for many good memories.

My friend Spencer with me, Kevin Skelly, at my IBM Retirement Dinner in March of 2012.

My dear, sweet Spencer, the world was definitely a better place with you in it. You fought the good fight and now it is time to rest. I will miss you terribly. It was an honor to call you my friend and I don't know what I will do without you. I am sorry that our last goodbye was never said. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

I miss Spencer a LOT. He was a member of my church and my choir. He was so valiant. I am so grateful for the too short amount of time in which I knew him.

On behalf of the Philadelphia Ship Model Society I want to express the society's and my own personal sadness at the passing of Spencer. He worked volunteered for tasks and worked tirelessly to perform them. He was a regular at meetings, until recently and was actually working on a large kit.
Smooth seas and fair winds my friend.
