Not sure what to say?

I had the chance to meet Spencer in 1978, and am only now discovering his passing because I googled him after looking through old photos. So sorry to hear of his passing & condolences to his family. I remember his music and how joyful he was. This is one of the several pictures I took during that meeting.

Wonderful musician and a sense of humor that made him an easy man to like. Heaven has a new band now.

Spencer & Marilyn were introduced to us by my dearest friend, Karen Hess-Kibben. What a joy it was to have them in our lives. Spencer would entertain us with his amazing voice & incredible guitar skills! We will miss him forever! Marilyn was a gifted & healthy cook & a good friend. May you cherish all of your amazing memories with Spencer.
Love,
Susy & Tom O'Day

Marilyn,
The world has lost a musical treasure!
Please know you are in our thoughts & prayers.
Love,
Susy & Tom O'Day

they say death may end a life, but not a relationship. So true that your gift of music is the gift of life and will always be part of the lives you have touched as you march with the saints

Spencer, you will be sorely missed on this planet but perhaps still singing and playing somewhere else. I knew you for 54 years and you always brought smiles with you whenever you came around;
I hope Django will be playing that skyscraper National lap steel now!
your forever friend, David Little

Dear Marilyn & Family. Thinking of you today for Spencer's funeral and holding each of you in my heart with love and sadness and know how much he will be missed by everyone. His musical, spiritual personal and lyrical impact will forever be in our hearts and minds. I would have been there today but I am taking care of my dear Mom whom is going through her dying process. God Bless, Laurie O. Dawes

Rest now, old friend.
Sincere, heartfelt condolences to the family.
