Not sure what to say?

Hello,

My name is Jim Kittle, and I taught English at Hillcrest High School for 17 years starting in 1994. Spence was my custodian for some of that time. After a while, I discovered that he was a voracious reader always looking for his next book. After learning this about each other, Spence and I became friends.

It's funny, but when you teach, you don't have as much time to read for pleasure as you otherwise might have, and Spence, in his retirement, became my book reviewer so...

I am so sorry for your loss. I was the English department chair at Hillcrest High School when Spencer worked at our school. He read everything. I remember him helping one of the other custodians learn to read. Spence was intelligent and kind to all of the English teachers at the school. We all admired him. Your family can be proud of the help he gave to us all. He was missed when he retired. I never forgot him.

Condolences and prayers to you and your family.

Dear Covert Family, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope for comfort and peace for all of you in the times ahead. Love Julie Ritchie Perry.

I am sorry for your loss. "God is a refuge and strength..." May the depth of your faith and the love of those who share your loss comfort you at this time of sadness.
