Not sure what to say?

I only met Spencer a few times but enjoyed talking and listening to his journeys.

Dear Joan, From another of our WHS classmates, I just learned of your loss. I hope that it will be a comfort to you to know that all of the Class of '58 will have a hug for you when we get together in June. Until then, take good care of yourself and do stay in touch.

Joan: I have just learned of "Mac's" passing and am really saddened. We were boyhood pals who had reconnected after many years. My condolences to you.

Joan
I was so saddened to hear about Spencer. I remember all the many interesting conversations we had working together at VSH. Time really goes so fast but I hope your many memories will give you comfort.

Joan, I remember fondly the many years we were neighbors in Waterbury over Dr. Bobs. Spence (and you) were always there for me, no matter what I might need. I enjoyed our many conversations, and simply knowing he was there no matter what.

You were one very special person in my lift So many fun times sking, sailing and just being together in NH and Vt as well as NY growing up.We had fun confusing people about are relationship. I will miss you unk.

Spence was more like a brother than an uncle. We grew up together and had many happy times along with the trials of growing up.

Joan, thank you for welcoming me into your home to visit with Spence during his illness. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to reconnect with him after so many years....a life time really. He was wonderful to me and I am comforted to know he had such a devoted companion. Holly
