Spero Christmas 2004

Spero was my husband for 11 years, but we were friends for 29 years. There will never be another like him. He was greatly loved by his family. He was an extraordinary teacher, father and grandfather, but most of all a good and generous man. I'm sorry that his time with us is done. We will miss him so much.

To the Family of Spero:

I had the honor of working with Spero at the Perez Elementary School where he was a highly respected teacher. Spero was a true gentleman, a kind person, who was a devoted teacher and very professional faculty member. He was loved by his students and treasured by everyone at the school. He will be sorely
missed.

A man is judged by his actions. Even through Spero and I was always needling each we had mutual understanding with each other and loved each other. No one will ever know just how many lives he has touched. I am sure during His 35 yrs of teaching he could have transferred many times nicer location, but he chose to stay in a minority school where he was needed most. He was devoted to family, students, and friends. I was proud to have him in my family. This world is a better place because he has...

I had the honor or working with Spero at the Perez School where he
was a devoted and excellent teacher. Spero was much respected by the faculty and his students.
Spero was able to teach and maintain discipline in a very quiet
way, and those who were in his class benefitted greatly. He will be missed for his gentle ways,
his kind manner and his goodness.

Spero was a great father and grandfather. Our kids grew up together and we shared many birthdays, holidays and their accomplishments together. We had a lot in common and often had long conversations about life and the arts. He was my friend and I will miss him.

Dear Family of Spero,
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy at the passing of your dear father/grandfather. Having worked with him for many years at Perez School, I am a witness to the fine example he was to colleagues and students alike. In your sorrow, also be proud. God bless him and take him into His loving arms.

Please accept our most heartfelt condolences upon the loss of Spero. Tho' we didn't know him, in the last year we have felt as tho' we did. Thank you for sending the email. We are very sorry we cannot be there for you. May God go with you in your sorrow and always. Diane and Al Sofiakis

Zoi Se Sas! Our deepest condolences.
