I wish to express my gratitude to God for the joy and honor of having shared Community with Sister Christine Stephens, and having enjoyed wonderful Holiday celebrations in the company of her parents and her sister Sarah.
Her parents were an inspiration! Even as her mother suffered a crippling condition of painful arthritis, they filled their home with joy, love and devotion to one another.
They transformed suffering into Joy!Truly a legacy for all of us.

My sincere condolences to her sister, Sarah and immediate family members, as well as to the Congregation of Divine Providence.
Her legacy as an advocate for issues of Social Justice and empowerment of others will live on in the hearts and memory of those of us who knew her.
Rest in Peace dear Sister Christine, in the rewards of your tireless labor for others.
