Sr. Marie Clement

My deepest condolences to the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor and to all who loved Sister so much.

When I went on a "Come and See" vocations retreat weekend in 1996, Sister was my companion and guide for a ninety-minute Emmaus Walk at Mt. St. John ("Bergamo") near Dayton, Ohio. I remember her gentle nature, wisdom, and overall presence that day. We wrote notes and sent cards for several years but, sadly, eventually lost touch.

As God welcomes this faithful servant...

I was fortunate enough to work with Sister Marie Clement while I worked for the Franciscans. She was a kind and loving person who will be missed. RIP Faithful Servant!
