Sr. Grace O'Meara, CCVI

Sister Grace O’Meara (90), entered into eternal life on June 3, 2023 at The Village at Incarnate Word, San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland, on August 1, 1932 to James and Ann (Murphy) O’Meara.

Sister Grace entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word in 1952.  She served in the Congregation’s health care ministry in Illinois, Missouri and Texas. 

Sister Grace is survived and dearly missed by her sister, Adeline Ellis, nieces and nephews and by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word.

Funeral Services will be held at the Village at Incarnate Word, 4707 Broadway.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on June 19 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Incarnate Word.
