Staci Turner Less, 39, of Birmingham entered the gates of heaven on April 25, 2018. Born on May 8, 1978, Staci was a life-long resident of Birmingham and graduate of Homewood High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Alabama in 2000. Staci is survived by her daughter Lila, the love of her life and the center of her universe, to whom she was greatly devoted. She is also survived by her mother, Eddy Carol Turner, her father and step-mother, David and Cindy Turner; step-brother Fletcher Smith and wife Leah; step-sister Brooke Yount and husband Jason; nephews Bennett, Fletch and Miller; nieces Anna James and Mollie. Staci was preceded in death by her grandparents; Edgar and Irene Bunn; Frank and Ora Lee Turner. Staci's real abiding passions were her family and friends. She sought to instill in her daughter a zest for life, a commitment to family and friends and the power of a smile. Her heart of gold will forever gleam brightly to all that knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers a fund has been set up for Lila Hanleigh Less in her name at BBVA Compass.

Sorry for your loss. When we loose a love one it always hurt, but God promises He will swallow up death forever. The sting producing death is sin, and the power for sin is the Law. But thanks to God, for he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
