Stacy Coleman Bragg Jr., 90, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
Stacy was born September 6, 1933, in Port Royal,Virginia, to Stacy C. Bragg Sr and Allie Mae Bragg. At a young age, the family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina.
In 1956 he married Betty Jean Larkins in Conway, South Carolina.
In November of 1960, Stacy entered the U.S.Coast Guard. After four years, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, where he would serve for the next 22 years.
Stacy was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Betty Jean Bragg; and one daughter, Laura Jean Lesieur.
He is survived by two children, Stacy Coleman Bragg III, Stephen Karl Bragg (Shirley Marie Bragg); four grandchildren, Natalie Molak, Eric Lesieur, Victoria Johnson, Brooke Johnson; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Memorial Services will be held at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Blvd West, Slidell, Louisiana, on Monday, March 18, 2024.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00am until 12:00noon.
Graveside Military Honors will be held at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 12:30pm.
